Judging Guidlines
The New Jersey State Fire Chiefs Parade Judges Association has adopted the following official guidelines for judging all apparatus:
-
NFPA standards specify the minimum equipment to be carried on all types of fire apparatus to ensure efficient and safe operation of that equipment.
-
NJAC 8:40, adopted in New Jersey on 15 April 1985, specifies the equipment required for rescue units and/or ambulance squads.
Our judges utilize these standards in all parade judging matters.
